This one-of-a-kind tree stands apart from the rest. What you see in the photos are what you get, and there will never be another one like it!
I’m Mila, the Snow Rose Serissa, and native to open woodlands and wet meadows in southeast Asia. I'm from the genus of flowering plants in the family Rubiaceae. I sport little white flowers and bloom often throughout the year, which is how I got my nickname, ‘Tree of a Thousand Stars.’
Full disclosure: I am a bit on the finicky side and am best suited for someone with good plant experience and a lot of patience. I don't like to be moved around too much as that can cause me to stress out by yellowing my leaves. I also prefer for my conditions to be just right. I will yellow and drop leaves if my soil is too wet or too dry. I will also yellow and drop leaves if i'm not getting enough sun or if I'm getting too much sun.
I will thrive indoors in bright indirect light but also like being outdoors during the spring and summer. Keep me in temperatures above 50 ̊F all year. To water, submerge my pot up to the rim for about 10 minutes or longer. I will suck up water through my pot’s drainage hole. Do this about once every 7-10 days, or when my pot feels about 1/2 lighter.
Symbolism: The Serissa's Wood element symbolizes growth and transformation, ultimately nurturing resilience, adaptation, and personal growth. Its Chi, 'Zhen,' stands for constancy and stability, with a strong power to cultivate an environment of strength and protection against negative energy.
Includes basic care instructions. We always recommend doing more research as each environment-- and tree!-- is unique. Plate sold separately.
