I’m Greta, the Lavender Star (Grewia occidentalis), and native to Australia and southern Africa. I’m known for my lavender star shaped flowers that sometimes bear fruit, which is why I'm also known as a Crossberry. I like bright light and can acclimate to full sun or partial shade.
To water, submerge my pot up to the rim for 15 minutes. Submerge about once every 5-7 days, more often when very dry or hot. I would be happy placed outside or near an open window in summer so I can feel the wind. I am an indoor tree-- keep me in temperatures between 60 and 75 degrees.
