This one-of-a-kind tree stands apart from the rest. What you see in the photos are what you get, and there will never be another one like it!

I’m Juliette the Radermachera ignea, also known as the Tree Jasmine. I am native to SE Asia, especially to northern Thailand and Laos. My name comes from the jasmine-like fragrance that my orange-colored flowers produce. Interestingly, these flowers sprout along my trunk and older branches. I can get 60 feet tall in the wild, but grow slowly as a bonsai and put energy into making a fissured trunk that shows my age and history. The forest planting style in this arrangement evokes the feeling of an old tree corpse and will continue to develop small plants and fern allies to enhance the look of a miniature forest and transport the imagination.

Care: Full to bright indirect sun. Water me thoroughly about once every 5-7 days, and more often during hot summer days. Water me by submerging my pot in water up to the rim for 20 minutes, then set me aside to drain. I'll do best in temperatures above 50F year-round.

Symbolism: In Fengshui, the Radermachera has a strong Wood element, generally symbolizing growth, harmony, and development. Specifically, its Chi, 'Zhen,' signifies thunder. Although disruptive, thunder is a powerful force that reintroduces balance in nature. This represents capacity to embrace change and find peace amidst the chaos. If oriented towards the East, the Radermachera could inspire familial harmony and wellness.
