I’m Dolly the Mistletoe Fig, native to Southeast Asia. My shiny light green leaves have a spatulate shape and yellowish undersides that have triangular black glands in between the leaf veins. My nickname 'Mistletoe Fig' comes from my small orange and red fruits which resemble mistletoe berries. I am used in traditional medicine in Southeast Asia where all parts of me are believed to have healing properties.

I am beginner friendly as I can tolerate a range of conditions. I do best in partial or direct sunlight, but can also survive in low light environments. To water, submerge my pot up to the rim for 5-10 minutes, and set aside to drain well. Do this about once every 7 days, more frequently when it is very hot or dry, or when my pot feels 1/2 lighter. I like it indoors, in temperatures between 45-80 ̊F. Keep me away from heaters in the winter and on nice days open the window for fresh air; I love a good breeze.

Symbolism: The two sides of the Mistletoe Fig leaves, each a different color, embody the concept of oneness in duality. In Feng Shui, this tree's Wood element promotes growth and stimulates progress and prosperity. It also carries the Chi of 'Xun,' harmonizing energy flow at home thus leading to improved relationships, communication, and living environment. An auspicious plant in Feng Shui, its rounded leaves are also considered as a symbol of good luck and monetary gain.

Includes basic care instructions. We always recommend doing more research as each environment-- and tree!-- is unique. Plate sold separately.
