'Jadé' the Dwarf Jade
I’m Jadé, a Portulacaria afra and native to southern Africa. I am an evergreen succulent shrub known for my natural tree-like form. I'm a very popular tree not only for my very easy care but also because I'm known throughout Asia as a good luck charm. I'm also referred to as a Money Tree for my vibrant green leaves which resembles jade coins, a symbol of wealth and prosperity.
Keep me in a location that has direct sunlight a few hours a day. A southern or western facing window works well. To water, submerge my pot in water up to the rim for 10-15 minutes and then let me drain thoroughly. Do this about once every 2-3 weeks, or when my pot feels light again. Dry, warm apartments might make me dry out quicker, so check the weight of my pot. Take me outside on nice days in summer for warm summer air, which reminds me of home.
Includes care instructions. Plate sold separately.
