I’m Fei the Harland Boxwood, native to China & South East Asia. I grow elongated leaves from my deeply fissured branches and trunk. In Spring I produce small, greenish yellow blossoms which are attractive to bees. I love being outdoors in spring and summer, or near a window with good ventilation.
Keep me in full or part-sun a few hours a day. To water, submerge my pot up to the rim for 5-10 minutes and let drain. Submerge about once every 5-7 days, or when my pot feels about 1/2 lighter. Keep me in temperatures above 50˚F all year, and away from heaters and air conditioners.
Includes basic care instructions. We always recommend doing more research as each environment-- and tree!-- is unique. Plate sold separately.
Symbolism: In Feng Shui, the Boxwood's metal element is believed to channel leadership and resilience, even amidst hardships. Metal symbolizes resilience, while its Chi, 'Qian,' underlines the ability to adapt to change, fostering a dynamic and enduring environment. It is also an auspicious choice for its ability to encourage financial prosperity.
