'Bert' the Black Mulberry

$ 65.00

I'm Bert the Mulberry, native to West Asia. I'm a self-pollinating deciduous tree that grows edible berries. My fruit is known for boosting the immune system and improving eyesight.

I do best in full to part sun. Keep me in temperatures above 50F all year, away from heaters and air conditioners. Dry heat in the winter will really bother me! It's best if my winter home is a little cooler - around 60-65F.

To water, submerge my pot up to the rim for 5-10 minutes. Do this about once every 5-7 days or when my pot starts to get light again.

Symbolism: The Mulberry's Wood element in Feng Shui symbolizes growth and transformation, representing the unfolding of new opportunities. Its Zhen chi represents a strong and vibrant life source, and is thought to enhance vitality and balance energy flow in living spaces.

Includes basic care instructions. We always recommend doing more research as each environment-- and tree!-- is unique. Plate sold separately.
