This one-of-a-kind tree stands apart from the rest. What you see in the photos are what you get, and there will never be another one like it!

I’m Maxine, the classic European Boxwood, native to Eurasia. I grow small round leaves and develop a rough bark on my trunk. Remember, I am an outdoor tree and need the cold temperatures of winter to go dormant. Keep me in bright indirect sunlight a few hours a day. To water, submerge my pot in water up to the rim for 10 minutes, about once every 5-7 days, or more often when very hot or dry. You can also tell by the weight of my pot-- when I'm 1/2 lighter, I need water. Keep me in temperatures between 32 and 60˚F from fall to early spring. In summer I can take temperatures up to 80˚F. Symbolism: The English Boxwood is of the oldest garden plants dating back to 4000BC, when it was associated with Cybele the mother goddess, a symbol of fertility and regeneration. In Feng Shui, the boxwood's metal element is believed to channel leadership and resilience, even amidst hardships. Metal symbolizes resilience, while its Chi, 'Qian,' underlines the ability to adapt to change, fostering a dynamic and enduring environment.
