This one-of-a-kind tree stands apart from the rest. What you see in the photos are what you get, and there will never be another one like it.
I’m Olli, the Tropical Boxwood, native to Puerto Rico. I grow small leaves and compact branches which are slightly pink when young. In spring I can get small greenish white bell shaped flowers. I love being outdoors in spring and summer, or near a window with good ventilation. Keep me in part sun or bright indirect light a couple hours a day.
To water, submerge my pot up to the rim for 5-10 minutes, about once every 5-7 days, or when my pot feels about 1/2 lighter. I might need to be watered more often when very hot or dry. Keep me in temperatures above 55˚F all year, and away from heaters and air conditioners. Make sure I'm away from any pets curious enough to eat me!
Symbolism: In Feng Shui, the Boxwood's metal element is believed to channel leadership and resilience, even amidst hardships. Metal symbolizes resilience, while its Chi, 'Qian,' underlines the ability to adapt to change, fostering a dynamic and enduring environment. It is also an auspicious choice for its ability to encourage financial prosperity.
Includes basic care instructions. We always recommend doing more research as each environment-- and tree!-- is unique. Plate sold separately.
