This one-of-a-kind tree stands apart from the rest. What you see in the photos are what you get, and there will never be another one like it. This forest planting is made up of two different trees: the Brazilian Rain Tree and the Snow Rose Serissa.
I’m Gilly, the Brazilian Rain Tree, and native to the Brazil rainforests. I am a hardwood tree known for my small leaves that usually close up at night, or when agitated. I represent transformation and life cycles, much like the rainforest itself.
I’m Mila, the Snow Rose Serissa, and native to open woodlands and wet meadows in southeast Asia. I'm from the genus of flowering plants in the family Rubiaceae. I sport little white flowers and bloom often throughout the year, which is how I got my nickname, ‘Tree of a Thousand Stars.’
To water, submerge my pot in water up to the rim for 5-10 minutes and then let me drain thoroughly. Do this about once every 5-7 days, or when my pot feels about 1/2 lighter. I never like to dry out completely. Keep me in a location that receives partial sun or bright indirect light. I like temperatures between 45-80˚F all year and humidity in winter.
Includes basic care instructions. We always recommend doing more research as each environment-- and tree!-- is unique. Plate sold separately.
