I’m Eywa the Kapok Tree, native to tropical regions from Central America to Southeast Asia. In the wild I can grow 200 feet tall, but I'll stay small in your home. My bright green palmate leaves resemble the well-loved Money Tree.
Keep me in a location that has direct sunlight for at least 4 hours a day. A southern or western facing window works best. To water, submerge my pot up to the rim for 5-10 minutes and let me drain thoroughly. Do this about once every 10-14 days, or when my pot feels 1/2 lighter. Dry, warm apartments might make me dry out quicker, so monitor the weight of my pot. In the warmer months, you can take me outside for warm air and natural sun.
Symbolism: I am an auspicious plant in Feng Shui as I carry the symbolic essence of the Earth element. As such, I convey stability, endurance, and the nourishing energy of Earth. My Chi of 'Gen' is protective and amplifies defensive energetic vibrations in the home, further strengthened by the power of my Earth element.
Includes basic care instructions. We always recommend doing more research as each environment-- and tree!-- is unique. Plate sold separately.
