A part of our newest collection, Crater Pots by Hello Homebody, an artisanal ceramics studio based in NYC and founded by Cameron Busch. Embracing the differences of handmade pieces and the beauty in neutral tones, her pieces exude a timeless elegance and rugged earthiness designed to complement your bonsai for years to come.
I’m Edie, the Pink Powderpuff, and I'm a rare species native to Brazil. I have small leaves that like to close up in prayer at night or when agitated. When I'm flowering, I produce puffs of showy pink flowers in late summer.
I am an indoor bonsai and do best in direct to bright, indirect sunlight and warmer temperatures to bloom. To water, submerge my pot up to the rim for 5-10 minutes and let me drain thoroughly. Submerge about once every 5-7 days or when my pot feels about 1/2 lighter. For good air circulation, put me in a room with a fan or open window. Keep me away from heaters in the winter as this will dry me out quickly.
Symbolism: I am an auspicious plant in Feng Shui as I carry the symbolic essence of the Earth element. As such, I convey stability, endurance, and the nourishing energy of Earth. My Chi of 'Gen' is protective and amplifies defensive energetic vibrations in the home, further strengthened by the power of my Earth element.
Includes basic care instructions. We always recommend doing more research as each environment-- and tree!-- is unique. Plate sold separately.
