I’m Celia, the Dwarf Pink Powderpuff, a member of the Mimosa family and native to Ecuador. I have small spade-like leaves that fold up in prayer at night or when i'm agitated. My new growth sprouts first with a reddish color which eventually turns into a dark green color. My growth habit is more horizontal than vertical. I produce sporadic pink and white powderpuff flowers year round. I like direct to indirect bright natural light and warmer temperatures to bloom.
To water, submerge my pot in water for 20 minutes, and let me drain thoroughly. Submerge about once every 5 days, or when my pot feels about 1/2 lighter. For good air circulation, put me in a room with a fan or open window.
Includes care instructions. Plate sold separately.
