'Ayana' the Barbados Cherry

$ 375.00

I’m Ayana, the Barbados Cherry and I'm native to the Caribbean. My leaves are evergreen and lanceolate shaped. I have small pink flowers that grow in clusters throughout the year. The flowers eventually turn into little red fruits that resemble cherries high in vitamin C which is used to make Acerola juice, jams and jellies. I like full sun to indirect bright natural light and warmer temperatures to bloom.

To water, submerge my pot in water for 20 minutes, and let me drain thoroughly. Submerge about once every 5-7 days, or when my pot feels about 1/2 lighter. Keep in temperatures above 50 F all year. For good air circulation, put me in a room with a fan or open window.

Includes care instructions. Plate sold separately.
