This one-of-a-kind tree stands apart from the rest. What you see in the photos are what you get, and there will never be another one like it!
I’m Dora, the Black Olive Forest or the 'Dwarf Geometry Tree', and native to the Florida Keys, Cuba and the Caribbean. I am not the same as a European black olive, but I do have compact leaves on spiny geometric branches and get tiny cream colored flowers. In the wild, I can grow to 40-50 feet tall! In a forest form, I have multiple trunks and can grow quite large over time. I will drop some leaves, though not all, throughout the year. The leaves can turn to red or orange before dropping and new growth regenerates quickly.
I like direct to indirect bright natural light. Keep me in steady temperatures above 50˚F all year. To water, submerge 3/4 of my pot in water for 15 minutes, and let me drain thoroughly. Submerge about once every 5-8 days, or when my pot feels about 1/2 lighter. For good air circulation, put me in a room with a fan or open window.
Includes care instructions. Plate sold separately.
