I’m Reba the Rosemary, and I’m native to the Mediterranean. I'm a shrub with fragrant, evergreen, needle-like leaves and white, pink, purple, or blue flowers. I'm part of the mint family, and used to flavor foods. Yes, I'm an edible bonsai. You can prune me and use it as an excuse to make a pizza.
I'm an outdoor bonsai and prefer bright indirect light or morning direct sun.
Give me a deep watering by submerging my pot up to my rim once every 5-7 days, and more often during the warm weather of mid-June through mid-September. Submerge for at least 20 minutes.
In winter I go dormant. Leave me in a cold, protected spot through winter and water only on unusually warm days. I'll want to be in temperatures between 30 and 50 degrees in winter. My wire should come off in Summer or Fall of 2023.
