I’m Peter the Japanese White Pine. I’m prickly but nice, and I have a natural pine scent which gets stronger in the sun. I stay green all year, and prefer bright light, which means at least 2-6 hours of direct sun per day. Remember, I’m an outdoor bonsai.
Give me a deep watering by submerging my pot once every 5 days, more often, even daily, when on very hot and sunny days in July and August. In winter I go dormant, so it’s best to leave me in a cold, protected spot until spring (I’ll need temps between 20 and 50 degrees). Remember, don't bring me to a heated room in winter or I will quickly die.
*Planter is showing signs of wear and small cracks, which will not affect the health of the bonsai. It can get repotted.
